    The return of Hope.

Last night in the 99th minute HOPE surfaced to poke home a deserved equallizer.
It was another draw in a game that, again we should have gotten more out of. But that has been the way here for some time now.
Lots of chances but no clinical finishing.

But last night a haze descended on my memory. The memory of our great signing from the Ismian League
And so with time ticking away a new signing made his debut. A bit raw but seems already to know that this game is about goals.
After the transfer debacle I reset my expectations to mid table with an at best "Play offs" finish.
I still maintain that, only with renewed HOPE.
Let's be honest fellow suffers......it has been missing for quite some time.
Can one player make a difference?
    You betcha!
I feel surprisingly upbeat this morning looking at the table. We are in a terrible run of results this season. One win in eight.
But our general play has been to dominate matches, for the most part we have done.
Hope has arrived in the form of a young down to Earth 23 old who has seen his opportunity and taken it.
Good for him and good for us.
Now I would have him and Cleary building an understanding in training specific to a dangerous partnership developing.
Dike will no doubt benefit from this new arrival as I'm sure he must have been feeling quite depressed with his current health situation.

Livermore has integral part still in this team as his playing time reduces. He has gotten stuck but I believe he has helpful life experiences for youngsters.
Anybody who knows football knows these types of players are important at every club.

So my expectations have been lowered but for clear reasons.
However my HOPE has been raised by enthusiasm and the fact that even in this dire run of form.....we are still bloody hard to beat.
    Onwards and upwards.
    COYB.

Glass half full we have only lost 1 in 8! With a target man we would I believe have converted 4 of the draws to wins. FOL

We set the pace last year and then fell apart. I'm hoping this year we will improve as the season progresses!

I like the way we are playing. We have been the better team in every match. Last night the commentary team expected Burnley to have all the possession but we had most of it. Toward the end we had 70% which shows we can control matches. If we can find the back of the net more we could walk this league.
