Such a different performance to Wed. We were immense! My motm was Viktor. Just brilliant today and it’s amazing that Woody keeps on scoring. As someone else said it’s refreshing that PW eventually subbed Wiles. UTM!!

Battling pt. Agreed for once Rathbone our MOTM. I'm still not sold on Bramall. Up front what's Warney got against Kelly? Washington & Eaves not seeing what they bring to the side. Harding he's not a back 3 player he's a right back who can play wing back on either side. We've got a natural left sided defender good enough McCart but we keep playing players out of position there incl' Humphreys. Pelts should have gone off 1st time he was injured he was sold giving needless dead ball offensive situations to them. High didn't do bad when he got on. Pleased with the draw. Going to have to come up with something different at Sheff U next Saturday cause that side starting today + Eaves I'd fear the worse.

Back to our battling best against the Watford exotica. A good exercise in largely nullifying the opposition while playing some fairly decent football ourselves when we escaped from our own half

I wasn't surprised by their silky skills; it was the the brutality of their tackling and not-so-easy-to-spot professional fouling that was in a way impressive. "They are a big physical side".

Arsenal will be pleased with their decision to send BNC to us for experience. This is the kind of game they presumably expect us to play regularly and which will give him the opportunity to build his strength and skill. I am so, so happy that we have him...

Victor's save was immense and was the difference between a point gained and three lost.

Harding struggled a bit and got caught out but he is worth his place as a utility player.

    Woody is wonderful.

Rathbone is probably my favorite Millers player and, again, he did not disappoint. Wiles huffed and puffed and looks better in League One where he has more room. Barlaser was in fine fettle but seemed to disappear occasionally. By and large the midfield held their own against a panoply of pedigree front players (unlike on Wednesday.)

Ogbene needs to find a way to progress rather than "just" win fouls and corners. Hard because he is so heavily marked. Eaves is not impressive. Just looks like a big clumsy boy who's not sure what he should do. (When we bring a big lump on, we also need to change our tactics more quickly to accommodate what they're supposed to do.)

I'm sounding a bit critical, I know, but that was definitely a point earned even though I didn't think we were firing on all eight a lot of the time. We definitely had our share of good luck but, overall, we found a way to break down a side who resources could have given us a good steam-rollering.

As some have said, in previous seasons at this level we may well have lost that game. Some resilience to bounce back and get something out of this, plus a decent showing against a side who ought to be in the final top end reckoning if they keep this level of performance up

A genuine unbiased post from a respected MM. Pleasure reading the truth for once in respect of certain players.

The changes for the Sheff U game are easy aren't they. Drop Wood because he's too old to play more than one game per season and bring Vickers in so that Victor doesn't flap at the ball.

It was an excellent point today against an impressive side, which with their money should be expected. we started well and scored a good goal(Woody) again. They came in to the game and we struggled to cope at times. At half time i was saying that a point now was a good result, and so it turned out to be.
...another tough game next weekend at Sheff utd but after today's performance it more than gives us hope of a point at least......UTM

Remind me again who the ex - Premiership team were in the first 30 minutes. A great display from us as we got at them from the start showing no respect like we would have done in previous years. Maybe that's the difference this time around, I'm not sure?

Before I mention the team, I have to get it off my chest about the Ref. Surprised no one has mentioned him.
What an inept bias performance. Talk about protect the ex big boys. His Booking of Wiles was his first tackle but he used the old pointing to three separate parts of the pitch scenario, to say he'd made too many, an absolute joke.

Yes Harding rather petulantly kicking the ball away to stop a quick attack from a free kick deserved a booking but, very late in the game we are awarded a throw in down in the corner, their player simply boots the ball the full length of the pitch to delay the throwing but no booking? Total inconsistency at its highest. Pathetic performance 3/10.

The team worked very hard and backed each other in the last 20 as the expected onslaught came. We're getting very good at this now and the difference is clear to see. Good recruitment has sorted the back line out but how much more can we keep calling off the old man? Glad there's no midweek game as there's no way he'd liked to be left out against the Blades.

Ollie head and shoulders above Barlaser and Wiles but the latter had a far better game and got stuck in like we know he can.

Viktor, what a keeper and unless something happened then Josh will have to wait patiently on the sidelines for now.

Brilliant point against a supposed big club......bring on the Blades!
