Your sick of paying old crocs!! Are you Gourlay or Lai?

Just for the record Kean Bryan is 25 years old, hardly an old croc.
Bryan has played only 66 games in 8 years!

Another terrible signing by us, 8 matches per year on average is an insult.

What I don't understand is that we let Caleb Taylor go on loan when we knew that, after the sale of Kipre, we only had three fit central defenders in Ajeyi, O'Shea and Bartley. It's the same to a degree with Mowatt. We knew that we had to replace him in the transfer window and in any case were either of the two we tried to get better than him anyway. He was excellent when he first joined us and I think that a long standing injury was a problem in the latter stages. It was very poor business, again, on our part. As the saying goes 'a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.'

    Couldn’t agree with you more.

The one thing that I am consistent on is that the Recruitment Department since Dan Ashworth left have been the main problem at our club.

And yes, personally I think their negative impact has been even greater than having Lai as owner.

Forgot to add he didn’t play at all in his first 4 years, up to aged 21, as he couldn’t get in the Man City team, most can’t.

That said it seemed a desperate buy at the time and nothing has changed since then. Not good enough, but his partner is pretty tasty!

Yea but he was on loan during that period when he actually played the majority of his 66 matches.

    He’s only played 22 matches since 2018!😤

My point isn’t about his ability at all. He hasn’t shown a lot since being part of the Man City Development squad.

I don’t think though that he is an old croc, far from it. He still is only 25 and there is nothing that I have seen or heard says that he was injury prone before joining us. Yes he got a cruciate ligament injury within a few weeks of joining us but that can happen to anyone. I had one myself when I playing in NZ.

He may as well be an old croc with the lack of games played. Sheffield U supporters did comment on this and appeared glad to get rid just like Robinson.

Sick of wasting wages on players who are forever out. I would pay Zohorses contract up and tell him to f uck off - savings on treatment fees and improvement on morale!

Couple of bits of completely useless trivia for you. Kean Bryan scored for Sheffield United when they beat Manchester United at Old Trafford in the Premier League. Remarkably Oliver Burke scored the winner that day.

Kean Bryan scored one goal in thirt e en Premier League appearances for Sheffield United that season. That's a better goal return than Karlan Grant's one goal in twenty Premier League appearances for us.

All stats off the top of my head and completely unverified as I can't be bothered to check so quite possibly wrong, but it's Tuesday morning and I don't really care 😊 .

I think you’ll find that Grants return of 18 goals last season in a season of 46 games isn’t 1 in 20 😉

'Grant'ed but I think you'll find I wasn't having a pop at Karlan, I was referring to Premier League trivia off the top of my head.

And my trivia was incorrect, it was one goal in twenty one Premier League appearances for last season's top scorer 😉 .
