Been reported Chelsea have been given permission to talk to Brighton & Hove Albion manager
Graham Potter.

Journalist Guillem Balague reports that Graham Potter has a release clause of £16m in his contract deal at Brighton,
so the club getting a good deal if true.

If I were Potter, I'd stay at Brighton - a team which is playing wonderful football and has an outside chance of replicating Leicester's miracle of a few years ago. After the World Cup, I'm sure Potter will be top of the preferred list of candidates to replace Lady Southgate.

Five years for Graham Potter, if he gets the sack, after 12 months he has a nice compensation.

Could it be Chelsea playing crafty, give him a 5 year contract, if the FA come in for Potter for
the England job, compensation to Chelsea, but wonder if Potter has a clause in his contract,
that if England come in for him as manager, he would be released from a contract.
