Wouldn't it change your life financially? Would mine. I'm only working class money I've got or pensions I'm getting I've worked for.

gru I’m no different to you I’m also working class or I was before I decided to retire at 59.

I have my pensions also from my previous working life. I also invested and saved well but I’m no means a 7 figure man with my savings.

I can though afford to holiday abroad well and gamble because I do it sensibly, I do not feel at all embarrassed as you put it, placing a £1 bet on, especially when they are 40/1 and 33/1 winners on Woody.

You sound like you gambled large in your past and it’s cost you.

Good luck playing the lottery, I do also and hopefully either one of us can have a life changing experience from it. 😉

The lottery is a waste of time and money. 12 million seven years ago, not had a sniff since. Someone asked me about the begging letters. I still keep sending them.

And how come another thread about a game of football has turned into the gru roadshow?

I retired at 59. I went crazy for a while drinking too much gambling far too much. But once I could see it was the road to ruin cut drinking down I hardly gamble on horses now. Brin you same re. Lotto if I don't win it 1st hope you do!

I remember this game Brin,it was a few days before we played Hull in the FA cup semi final at Wembley. The ref warned Morgan twice about pulling Harry Maguire's shirt before the corner had even been taken, then when the corner was eventually taken Morgan did exactly what the ref(Mike Dean) had warned him not to do,a cert penalty. I think it would've been a cracking game today and when it is eventually played if us BLADES don't match the Millers workrate then they could well take a point or even 3.I have a lot of respect for the Millers and Warney and i think they have played well in the 4 home games i've seen them at the NY stadium this season. The poster who said we didn't look a top of the table side when he watched us must have watched a away game because we have been superb at home this season and the performance against Reading was Outstanding. I wish the Millers well for the rest of the season apart from when we play them obviously. UTB
