What you painting...a bridge?

Depends what your after. Bog STD emulsion (crown, wickes own) is as cheap as chips (£2 a ltr). Dulux is about £4 per ltr. I bough some specialist cellar paint at £24 per ltr. I've worked in schools who use fire retardant/mold protection paint at about £7 per ltr

Painting a deck (about 1000 sq ft) so exterior grade emulsion with primer incorporated (don't know how they do that?). Also just re-sealed the driveway with around 36 gallons of, actually not sure what it is but it's black, smells like tar and takes a couple of days to cure. Much cheaper than paint though at around $160 for 36 gallons.

Generally paint here is around $40/gallon in the DIY stores and up to double that in the specialist paint suppliers. One I have used is shown in the picture below, might have got a good deal off them Brin for your Millmoor exploits
