Is it ever right to boo our own players when they make mistakes?
I can't see me ever doing it. Watching it on the box last night made me realise that our fans are quite embarrassing sometimes.
We are going to instil a culture at home games where players are going to be frightened to pass the ball.
I know Bartley was rubbish, but I don't like the fans booing his every touch.
I wouldn’t do it but supporters are entitled to do what they want especially paying good money! Bit like saying those who are against monarchy can’t make their feelings known although for me there’s a time and place!
Most supporters can accept losing if there’s effort and desire, There was none so get it!
Bartley was absolutely shocking so do I feel for him? No!!!!
Steve Bruce is the coach, he is the one to have a go at.
It's a disgrace but we did last season too when Robinson was deemed to have bottled a challenge.
Bruce has got away to date and I cannot believe that. He is absolutely s hit, didn't have any contacts to bring at least one loan player in on loan or have any of his own knowledge of the foreign market.
We are his last pay cheque and the only St upid pr icks who employ him and his equally useless son and clemence and Agnew.
Do you think any of these 4 c unts go and watch any reserve games in their spare time to see if we can bring in someone who can improve us from other clubs?
He is here because of his reputation of years ago when he was hungry now he basically wants to be watching England on their next cricket tour.
There should have been chants of sacked in the morning from us not those blose ba starts.
I feel Lucy Brucey will be the target of the fans ire at Norwich. If we are heading for defeat it'll be "you dont know what your doing" as per Robson. Once the fans turn on the manager the end is usually nigh. The fans have to make a stand now and Norwich might very well be where it's at.
We don't know what goes on behind the scenes, in the dressing room, on the training ground etc. but it doesn't appear that Bruce has improved any players and is certainly not getting the best out of them. At some clubs players will run through a brick wall for the manager, unfortunately, with us, it does not appear to be the case.
If results don't improve, and I certainly can't see it on Saturday, then I believe his days will be numbered. As has already been said, once the fans are lost, even with his close affinity to Gourlay, he could well face the chop. The problem then is, who will take over?
Having now watched the highlights I’m gobsmacked at the display of Bartley and O’Dear..........their positional sense is non existent and they just can’t read the play.
Townsend is no better, if you look at their first goal the ball could’ve easily been played wide rather than through to Hogan as their wide right player was completely open.
This is NOT a defence, this is not what a defence looks like.
Have to agree. While admitedly we have missed chances this season it isn't our biggest problem. The biggest problem, and has been for quite a while, is our calamitous defending. Basically, it is shambolic. There is no shape, a lack of awareness, technically poor, you name it. God knows what they must be doing on the training ground. Whatever it is, it 'ain't working. I'm not just saying this for effect but I've had school teams with far more awareness of how to defend. That's how bad it is! What is even more worrying, with the exception of Pieters, who else is match fit to replace them.
