Ode to the BBC.
You're angry that 'your' queen is dead
And you know that I don't care
You're angry that I don't recognise
Her 'rightful Son and Heir'
You're angry that I don't show 'respect'
To something I don't believe
You're angry that I have the freedom
To choose when I should grieve
You're angry, that unlike you,
I wasn't put upon this earth
To bow and scrape and know my place,
Like some medieval serf
You're Angry that somehow,
I'm allowed a point of view
You're angry when you realise
I don't agree with you
You're angry that I don't embrace
Your feudalistic rules
You're angry because you know that I despise
Such grovelling, fawning fools
But you see, I am angry too
About so many different things
Born in a world of sycophants,
And all the grief it brings
I'm angry at the BBC, the Daily Mail,
The morons that they quote
The puerile propaganda
They're ramming down my throat
I'm angry that I'm mourning,
For a vision that has gone
Angry that we can't make a world
That works for everyone
I'm angry that we're still held back
By forelock tuggers such as you
Angry that you're wedded to your masters
And your own outdated view
I'm angry that you worship
The people at the top
Your whole world's an anachronism
It really has to stop.

Respect is a strange thing.
I remember, a few years ago, being in Italy when a really big funeral arrived at a church.
We were just passing, but you couldn't help but notice, I've never seen so many flowers in one place.
Some tourists took some photos.
I was shocked, I couldn't imagine anything that could have been less respectful.
Of course I didn't know who's funeral it was, I wasn't owe him / her any respect, but you behave yourself these situations.
I remember being in Cheung Chau, sitting outside having a beer in the market square when a buddhist funeral came down the hill and through the square.
That was really impressive, bells ringing, horns being blown etc. everyone seemed to be having a good time.
It didn't seem wrong to continue sitting having the beer but I wouldn't more have thought about filming the thing than flee in the air.
Now the only footage of the bitch's coffin being paraded around that I have seen included absolutely everyone lining the streets taking photos or videos of the bloody thing.
Absolute mass disrespect.
I remember being in Italy a few years ago at an international flower show. Some killjoy was outside stopping folk from taking photos. Totally ruined it for everyone
Is she actually in the box, do you think?
Very reasonable question
Someone should open the lid and take a photo.
That actually popped into my head as I watched the hearse being driven along Deeside, Because that coffin has been on a real Royal tour, It’s been taken through the streets of Scotland, on flights, on the motorway, into Buckingham Palace out of BP and trundled over to Westminster Hall in the Houses of Parliament. Would we not have seen a massive security operation if it was actually the real Queen ? Why risk some bampots chucking stuff at it or even worse attacking it, Could be just been for public consumption.. Conspiracy theory maybee but up to now Joe public have been told sweet FA.
Now it would be hilarious if it was an empty coffin and there must be a good chance that it is indeed the case. Just can't see them taking a chance on some nutter doing something to it in this day and age despite the security.
It would serve all those nutjobs who are waiting for hours on end to walk past a coffin of someone they didn't know.
In other news I see the timothy are to be investigated for fans having anti royal banners in the ground at their game the other night. I know you are not allowed political statements, but is being anti royal being political? Of course their paranoia will be through the roof that Rangers are getting away with singing the English anthem despite being told not to do so.
Strange times.
In another news, I came across this story from the Jubilee in 1977 on the BBC. How times have changed.
That strip makes my eyes bleed though.
