Your ‘entitlement’ is my ‘reasonable expectation’. Your example of the D&R result has been proved to be a load of bollox by the fact they were several places above us at the time. You are trying to use the same logic to prove your point that you’ve ridiculed others for using!
And you still haven’t revealed your previous username.
A very poor result today, but hey... it's just one game.
Hopefully the lads will bounce back & we'll be back on track.
COYP!
I've been reflecting on this result. Whilst it's poor (very poor) for a whole host of reasons, I actually think it could be a blessing in disguise. The longer the unbeaten run goes, the more pressure it brings so in some respects I think getting a defeat helps relieve that pressure and also brings us back down to earth. The real test now is what happens at York. Win there, and this is a blip. Fail to win and more searching questions will be asked.
One thing I am sure of is that peaking early is not good. My view is keep within touching distance and wait until Jan/Feb to really push. Nothing is won in September.
Not angry, just a bit confused by you constantly changing the goalposts.
You still haven’t explained why it’s worse to lose to a team several places above us at a higher level than it is to lose to part timers seven places below us at level 5. To give you credit, you’re really good at avoiding the question.
Who gives a sh!t whether it was the ‘worst defeat ever’? The point is who were the same old players making the same old mistakes meaning we’re still in the same old league?
On the plus side I’ve just watched Beaker try to explain why FGR lost to Morecambe.
