Nor did I, GF. This is pretty good though:

The other clues CAM gave were good. I was on the right track with "Betty" being Michele Dotrice (her character in "Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em") and was thinking Michael Crawford - but he, of course is a fine, well known singer. I'd forgotten she was married to EW...

Also the Brit Eckland link in that they both appeared in the film 'The Wicker Man'. CAM will need to remind me in terms of the singing reference there.

If memory serves me right I believe at one point she was naked, dancing/singing/chanting whilst at the same time pounding on EW's bedroom wall.

Clues below. Open to anyone now.

    11. But I smell her on your collar so goodbye-bye-bye, bye-bye-bye (Often a tell tale sign a car salesman is lying. By the lady who sang 55)
    12. Since you've abandoned me My whole life has crashed Won't you pick the pieces up (Could be painful on the feet. By the lady who sang 57)
    18. Can't you see I'm in pain My pulse is getting weaker please come back again. (No it's not Kempo. By the lady who sang 37)
    21. I seem to spend all of my time Trying to turn my black night, blue (No truth in the rumour that this is about Marty Feldman and Douglas Bader)
    22. 'Cause I, I really do love you. Oh oh So come on baby hold me. (Mine are 25g tungsten)
    35. He's a guitar man with a great big soul He lays down a beat like a ton of coal (One ruler singing about another)
    38. They say that time heals a broken heart But time has stood still since we've been apart (Starts "… I've made up my mind To live in memories of the lonesome times")
    49. The minute the band begins to swing it He's on his feet to dig it And dance the night away (A non-violent person would say this. Another one by the lady who sang 37)
    54. I see the crystal raindrops fall And the beauty of it all (TS and PW might have sung this to each other many times. Also sang 34 and 46)
