    I think you're doing the club a disservice when you say it is a tough challenge. There are infinitely tougher gigs than us, we are in a really healthy place. It is / should be an exciting proposition to many looking to progress their careers (if working lower down the pyramid) or reestablish their credentials (if out of work).

    Money will be a factor but there will be applicants that actually want to try and play football and can work with a budget on our level.

    All personal preference but an Ainsworth appointment would send out completely the wrong message, to me anyway.

    Yes agree with that but anybody taking the job runs the risk of getting a relegation on his cv and also has to live with a PW comparison.

    Good point Grist. This is why Warne had to leave if he was ever going to. 8th in the league will always be his parting position....the fact it is only September will always be forgotten. With 8 games in October the table may have looked totally different had he stayed but now we will never know. I feel for the new guy already.If we make the play-offs then it will all be about the legacy Warne left behind,if we get relegated then we were 8th when Warne left.
