    Disgusting. Loads of local authority investment into the infrastructure, value of the land goes through the roof, close the airport and sell the land at massive profit. Peel got form here. Same thing happened at Sheffield airport.
    You can bet there's brown envelopes aplenty.

    Just about sums this country up.

    Back to Turkey next month, flying from Doncaster for 3 wks. So still open when we return. We flew with Get-Jet to Bulgaria from Doncaster, holiday booked with Tui, so the flight had to have a Tui rep on board in August, Get-Jet a Lithuanian company leased the plane to Tui. Pity Jet2 did not move to Doncaster. If Doncaster not viable, how does Humberside keep open, Not many holiday flights, so must be the haulage it does.
