    Whoever sold the airport on originally, didn't they realise what Peel group stand for? Or did they just want their quick slice of the £ notes and did one?

    Those poor folk all about to lose their jobs. What a great friendly airport this is.....what a shame.

    And to think, the government recently approved a grant to build a line direct from Donny train station to the airport…. You couldn’t make it up!

    So the money they save from that will enable them to make a further cut in the top rate of taxation

    Yes RAF Finningley

    One of the longest runways in the UK because it was a Vulcan bomber base

    A target on the film " Threads"

    When it went civil there was no real chance of objections due to noise stopping the conversion

    Need to get English Heritage on the case. I'm sure they could throw a few spanners in the Peel Groups plans for a number of years.
