I have noticed that on numerous occasions this season alright. That is a concentration problem. Not retaining focus for ninety minutes or so.
It's pretty poor DNA for any footballer. John Giles use to bang on about that all the time.
He particularly despised players who switch off for say a throw in or a free kick deep in your opponents half. He would berate anybody in ear shot for not marking a man for a throw in.
His mantra was if you can't play football simple, then fcuk off. He was a delight to listen to over here doing math analysis. Such an intelligent footballing brain. So much time for that player.
And he would always pick out where a weakness was before a goal was scored. He hated laziness and adored football passion even when losing.
