Good! Let’s bus them down to pick all the fruit then rather than fly in Romanians and also a spot of community service. Refusal should equate to Rwanda for re-processing. There’s no such thing as a free lunch when many of our elderly can’t afford to turn on their heating or young families have free food.

Unfortunately for you the Tory mask has slipped these last 9 days and revealed what the real truth is .

I perfectly understand your anger over those that don't work and partly agreed with you that these people do exist , none the less you didn't get back to me on whether you yourself would employ such people who are basically unemployable , I take it as read that's for someone else to do just as long as it's not you .

The Tory mask has slipped , they didn't and never did care about you in the first place , they captured your vote by telling you that you were different , homeowner , good income I suspect , decent motor and nice holidays and to emphasis the point they gave a good kicking to the low paid and made them your enemy .

Now they have you in their sights because middle England is going to get the biggest kicking out of everyone , they'll transfer your money to the richest 5% and they won't even blink .

    You voted for this .
I am not sure that you are right that we voted for this. We didn’t know that there would be a pandemic followed by an invasion in Ukraine, followed by Putin holding the world to ransom over gas/electric prices.

I voted (against my historical vote) for a Conservative Government because Labour in my view under Corbyn were not a credible party to run the country. I am in a constituency behind the Red wall and along with thousands of others we knew that Corbyn had to be beaten, even if that let in Johnson.

Middle England will always get the biggest kicking in these times, as will middle Germany, France, Belgium, Spain etc. The big earners are protected come what may even without any tax reductions. Those at the bottom end are being protected to a certain degree with benefits. Yes the Government could do more but so could many who find themselves in that position. The ones I feel most for are those above the line where real benefits kick in. Usually they are lower paid people contributing as best they can on lower wages. They are the ones 8 feel for not Middle England with a house etc.

Those of us in the middle have been living the life of Riley for so long that yes it will be hard but we need a reset and like it or not that is what we are going to have to do. Why do we need all this electricity anyway we never had it as kids? And no we didn’t have fancy take away meals or restaurant meals either! The opportunity of a foodbank would have been nice though.

You'd better get used to it then Baggie given Truss has announced a relaxation in the immigration rules , hidden away in the press with all last week's other events .

Relaxing the speaking our language rule too for good measure plus the skills rule is getting thrown out too .

Unfortunately as much as Mick would like there aren't 100k HGV drivers claiming unemployment benefit or 40k capable of working in the NHS .
