alf --the real reason is that he doesn't have as much time to go and get a pie when watching League as he does when watching the other ball games.

How long is half-time at a League game, if it's ten minutes instead of the ludicrous 15 minutes at a footy match, I might still be persuaded.

RL lads pop a pie in their month sinkov, they then swallow it whole, and the referee turns the game straight round, the fans constantly eat pies throughout the game.

No such thing as a break in the RL code mon ami, I didn't think so anyway, but my wife says it's ten minutes between hooters.

Half time is indeed 10 minutes, although it often lasts a few minutes longer ------ they need time for 2 pies!

You're not telling me they need more than 10 minutes to eat two pies in Wigan Sub, I'm not having that, even I don't need 10 minutes to eat two pies.

Isn't it Wigan where you see transit vans parked up in the back streets, with signs on the windscreen saying "No pies kept in this van overnight" ?
