Not sure if anyone heard his interview on radio last week but, Tony sounded knackered and out of breath. The more I listened the worse he’s sounded.

I know he loves a cigar or three so they may be catching up on him or, he must have climbed the steps to the commentary box pretty sharpish and was out of breath for that reason.

Yes he did, Mrs G said ‘ he sounds like you” ( stairs and me don’t get on)

The other thing that occurred to me was his “ unhappiness” with the PW departure, in a way he sounded betrayed

Losing the star striker and defender and Manager to league 1 clubs hasn't helped.

Yet goes on about lessons been learnt premiership million pound players.

As a chairman its his job to fund rufc.

Yes he has done off the pitch (but the club don't own the stadium)

    Why not??

Cos it's the clubs biggest asset.

If he had backed pw we would off stayed up last time.

If he backed Paul Warne this season he wouldn't off left
For a club our size though and the realistic financial position, the alternative to being a yo-yo team is being a league one team.

Anyone who is unhappy with how much is being spent on the club should buy Tony out or stop moaning. Some people just have zero comprehension of what is realistic. We are very lucky.

It's very easy to spend other people's money.

Yes we are a yo yo club but it’s better than being a yo club and not going up at all. We have about 8000 fans, we’re never going to have a 40000 seater stadium and qualify for the Champions League. If I wanted that I’d watch Wednesday 😀

Edit John beat me to it ha ha

. The chairman shouldn’t come out with stupid comments, the premiership dream, plus the time for investment is when we have established ourselves in the championship. How are we supposed to establish ourselves in this league without investing?.

Think we'll be in big big trouble come January. Many of our seriously underpaid players have chucked the towel in and our strike force for this level is laughable. Matt Taylor should have done his homework and talked to Kenny Jacket and Paul Warne before taking the job so i don't have a lot of sympathy. This forum is full of TS sycophants and i can't be bothered to battle against them. See you all in division 1.

I’ve seen some stupid posts in my time on here but accusing posters is absolutely pathetic

Trouble with fans is they don’t try to see the whole picture, it’s not just about giving fees and wages is it, there’s loads of other things that need money spent on
