Timbertop, I have removed the word has requested. It does take a bigger person to admit when they've posted wrong, hopefully your apology will be accepted as intended. Let's move on from this and trust you are recovering well.

Everyone has their price. Why wait for the inevitable (as many think on here) and wait until we're relegated. Their value goes down.

Personally I think we've been very unlucky not to stay up the last two times.

If there are no big investors or TS doesn't want to risk his own or money the club hasn't got why not sell our biggest assets now? Surely that's the only way to do something different?

Unless a couple of thousand supporters are prepared to practise what they preach to the chairman and donate a grand each to sign a player or two? You might get two decent loans. That MIGHT make a difference in this league.
Howdy, I don't believe fans should ''donate'' but do you think TS would ever allow club shares of £1000 each per person maximum, to be released to us fans? Imagine if two thousand of us took up the offer to generate £2 Million, now there's something for TS to think about.

I would expect the latter. I’d have thought that the facilities would be paid for by the government as well.

No staff employed by the club receptionists etc...

The club don't own the stadium so why not? Be more or less the same thing. Why do we want more shareholders who won't want to invest more when the £1000 'buy in' runs out?

I just don't get why people are p!ssed off at the level of investment. Every team is just 2 or 3 players short.

When did we morph into the fans they have at S6?

    It's sad.

Howdy, you're quite right the man who owns the stadium also owns the club!

I wouldn't expect any outside investor contributing to give it for nothing so, if i'm being asked to put a £1000 I too would want to see something for it and not just give it for free. You're obviously for more well off than I am if you just want to donate £1000 for nothing.

As for your point on, ''I just don't get why people are p!ssed off at the level of investment'', I too fully accept the level of where we in reflection on the investment put forward so, cannot expect to see much better players coming in. We are what we are but, how much longer do we stay at this level and yo-yo? Yes we have a club that will survive and not fold like Bury but, without further outside investment and the lockout TS shows to anyone coming in, then what?

Sorry but I don't get the S6 point you're making have I missed something?

So who does own the stadium?

And who are the directors of that company?

Brin, you can spend £5 million at this level on a player and it doesn't guarantee anything.

The S6 reference. Our fans have short memories. Too much criticism and unrealistic expectations.

Indeed you can pal but that would NEVER happen in our lifetimes. We haven't even broke the £400,000 barrier yet so forget 5 mill.

I think frustration of being so close yet so far on two occasions in the Championship, has been implanted in our fans memories and right now, and for the third time, we are here again. So what can we expect come January? Will the fans turn on TS if it all repeats itself like groundhog day?
