Can undertstand Cresswell going out on loan ( doing well )but would be an option - young yes, but has all the makings of decent CB.
Mellier also not looking as assured - just goes to show the importance of having a strong, organised, confident & settled back 3 or 4.
Struijk all things condsidered, ok at LB, but needs to play CB, funny just how much club relied on Mr Versatile ( Dallas )

Dallas is a big loss as never really seems to have a bad game. foreshaw is also out for another month and he is able to bring calm to the midfield. Both have decent prem experience too which was a little lacking in midfield on Saturday and showed second half.

Agree that having a settled and confident back four helps a lot. Rasmus was a plus point on Sunday but Cooper looked rusty which I guess is understandable when you are coming back from injury.

Teams often talk about incremental improvements but I guess the reverse is true too and maybe we have suffered a bit from incremental set backs, injuries, playing out of position, dodgy decisions, players adjusting to a new league, no proper left back etc.

Dallas is finished with that injury and age he isn't returning to what he was. Foreshaw who has played like ten games in three years should have cut our losses with that one. Spend money on a player who couldn't get a game in Roca while Gray is miles better even at his age.
The club isn't going anywhere with the 3 stooges in charge. Recruiting once again shows how bad we are. Defense I ask myself what defense it's a joke.

Thankfully Oz there seem to be 5 or 6 teams at least as poor as we are

Yeah so was last season and looked at what happened. Other teams like Brighton losing their top players and managers and still know what they are doing! We are supposedly one of the biggest clubs in England and the world run like a non-league club hoping for miracles.

Last season was weird in terms of injuries - if we get that level of injuries then yes we are in deep trouble.
