Unpopular opinion perhaps but I actually prefer this result in a season we're legit contenders for automatic promotion.

Fewer games, meaning more everything for the ones that really matter.

Read what I said about the season so far. But call it as it is, today's FA Cup exit to Coalville is a horrendous result. A huge chunk of this is on LW. I don't see how there's any getting around this. There isn't, it's a very bad day for the club.
I don't think anyone is trying to say it isn't a terrible result

I'd rather won but lost if it meant a replay 3 days before a match against a playoff team

But our player recruitment is awesome, must be somebody else’s fault.

Let's hope we don't have a Jim Bowen moment on Monday with Coalville drawing Derby at home.

    There's a fair few.

I agree that certain players come out of this really badly as well. And don't have the stock that LW has in the bank.

But a back 5, 2 holding mids, 2 other mids and just Mitchell up front must have handed all the initiative to them. They must have been salivating when they saw the team sheet. These were LW's choices and they were clearly wrong.

If Williams does indeed have to take full responsibility for this embarrassing cup exit, I demand that he must also take full responsibility for us being top of the league and only losing 1 of our first 13 league games! That's fair isn't it?

Embarrassed, yup a little. Annoyed? Yeah big time I bet on Notts to win 4-2 or lose 2-4. So close

Crap tactics, no urgency and squad players aren't good enough.

Not sure anyone has said it wasn't a terrible result.

    Disappointed - yes
    Angry - a bit
Embarrassed at being a Notts fan - never!

What is also annoying is Coalville were not that good. Not sour grapes, they weren't.

Good luck to them, they needed us today with the side we put out.

Their are too many managers who disregard the FA cup... but at our level? FFS Williams has a nerve.
