Pity about the 3 awarded to the Swans CiB.

If we were still playing, they still wouldn't score.

What's the matter with you, I got the result right and the Swansea score right, even I'm not bloody perfect. You know what Meat Loaf sang, "Two out of three ain't bad".

On a more serious note, mon ami, that was about as perfect a winning game as you will ever see.

Maatsen, Beyer, TBH, Vitinho, Cork, Cullen, Zaroury, Tella (again!), Jay Rod & Brownhill were almost pitch perfect.

It will be three good teams that stops this lot from being promoted.

You and me both wax lyrical about the Dyche team that won the Championship for the last time, I now believe this new lot are better.

Me and the lad are off to Sunderland on Saturday and feck the travel time and expense.

Seems only a few days ago mon ami, that some posters on here were saying that Vinni was clueless, we needed a new striker and Jayrod should be pensioned off, as he could no longer hack it at this level, and the football was boring, backwards, over, under, sideways, down, anywhere bar into the box,

In fact it doesn't seem like just a few days ago, it actually was just a few days ago. It was just 12 days ago that I was asking for fans to be patient and give him some time. What a difference a few days can make.

You and me too Sinkov.I think the main difference today was that we came up against a team that wanted to play similar to us whereas a lot of teams sit deep and try and catch us on the break.

It was interesting to note that Jay Rod, Cork and JBG when he came on were quite exceptional on the ball, I never saw much of that level of technique displayed when they played under Dyche.

If you have ever watched James Stewart in the "Glenn Miller Story" it shows him fiddling about trying to get his tune dead right. Then as if by magic he finds the right combination and the orchestra are pitch perfect. I believe that's what happened yesterday with our lot. Immediate post-match on field celebrations seemed to indicate a team at one with themselves and they collectively milked the crowd's rapturous applause for all it was worth. A very happy day finished off superbly by the Hornets stinging the Canaries.

A very valid point CiB, the Swans were hopelessly outplayed at their own game.

I checked the stats on my Sky Sports app late in the game and it was showing that Swansea had more possession than us, by the end it had swopped round, to 52-48 in our favour. Possibly Swansea had lost a bit of interest in the last quarter ?

Exactly right BT , the new crop
Of players and our existing players really take care of the ball much better than we’re used to
, under Dyche the whole thing was rushed based on defence and hitting it big Boot to a forward hoping he could hold onto it long enough to get us a free kick or at least get some support to
Him , be honest we couldn’t trap a bag of sand in the main.

We now move at a much quicker pace and kill the ball dead when it’s passed to each other , we also create angles and move into space to receive the ball and commit the opposition - tbh and I know I’ll get jumped on we know have a manager who is up to date with modern football and plays it as it should be played.

I was very interested in the distance our centre backs are apart from each other ( Tarky and Mee we’re very compact ) these two are spread out and I believe are very happy in each other’s abilities ( the midfielders offering and creating angles really helps ).

Beyer would be a great permanent signing I think he could step up to premiership level without any effort , and we don’t need to even mention THB he’s the real deal.

Bargain of all bargains though is Cullen a brilliant reader of the game - competitive- sniffs out danger early and is always where it’s happening- how other clubs missed him is beyond me a very very good acquisition
