I love getting accused of also being KerrAvon, I find it incredibly flattering that people genuinely believe I have the intellectual capacity to take on such a complex and intelligent persona in addition to my own ramblings, and at times at odds with them!

Kerr may be less chuffed though.

    Cheers!

    That's not free speech.

There is a big distinction between being disagreed with, and being subjected to abuse.

People who don't really care about that distinction are at risk of turning us into the sort of country that the people who fought for this country were fighting against.
I'm not saying that at all. I have not said he shouldn't protest. But not agreeing does not have to be turned into a protest. He could quietly decline to be involved, and respect those that do want to. But he doesn't. He spoils that mark of respect others are making by drawing attention to himself.

In your free speech world you are within your rights to talk loudly on your phone in the middle of a minutes silence in memory of someone you hated. But you can expect abuse for it for not respecting that other people do want to uphold that minute silence.

This is a football message board NOT a party political platform.

oh ffs!! Can't I now respond to a point telling me I am missing the point, when someone else has missed the point I was making!!

I am not political. I am not making any sort of political point am I.

I very rarely post on here. And I don't generally get involved or drawn into arguements.

So I'll give up and be yet another person like loads of others who don't feel they can't post a comment because they get shot down for it.
I'll leave you boys to abuse each other and keep out of joining in.
