Does he make Rodrigo, one of our most expensive acquisitions, look like a complete and utter waste of space, you f00king betcha.

If he can, start him and sub if he runs out of gas with Gelhardt, or Gnonto, anyone but Rod-waste-of-space-rigo.

Seem to recall someone saying Adams and Roca weren’t good enough when we signed them too 😎

pulled this from another thread. it sums all 2 years of frustration. of course, we'll never have a breakout story like Rooney or Smith since they would have just sat the bench if they had Ted as the coach. 2 or 3 more games with bamrigo as our striker I'll be rooting his firing. Yank or not I'd rather him fail that Leeds fail. that's where we are heading. You don't win games if you don't score.

A striker that doesn't score is a lot like a keeper that doesn't stop shots. They may be great on distribution and goal kicks but in the end their primary, and really only, job is to keep the ball out of the net. For a striker the job is to put the ball in the net. Neither him or Rodrigo are good enough putting the ball in the net.

Making it worse is the fact we have an Italian National striker, A player that West Ham wanted to keep but couldn't get in the game enough because they have Antonio and Joffy who's shown the ability to step up big when game/season on the line.

I will never understand why Leeds gets these coaches that think that game time is given on salary or seniority rather than what they've done on the pitch. Neither bamford or rodrigo have earned the starting striker role based on goals. Sit them and give someone else a chance.

I saw an article in the Wall Street Journal on Haaland. It referenced how little he does on the pitch. His touches are very low. His "persoanl goal" is to have 5 touches/5 Goals. He's not done it yet but that's what he's working toward.

Perhaps we could have bamrigo lay down somewhere in the box and just blast it off him hoping for a goal. The odds of it going in aren't much less than when they are actively trying. PK's would be a little tricky. Maybe have them lie just outside the box and have the PK taker blast it off them. Again, probably a higher chance than them taking it.

Perhaps we could get permission from the FA to place a rubbish bin or piece of furniture in the box and use it in lieu of a striker and use the salary savings to fund longer term contracts for Meslier or our Midfielders?

I sense you may be more than a little frustrated by Bambi’s squandering of high xG changes S 😎

And if you aren't, then you need to change your name to hopelessly"over"optimistic. 😁
