I'm just confused by what you were trying to say, looked like you were considering abusing your mod powers... again.

Did you forget the time you deleted something you had posted and the subsequent replies because it embarrassed you and you got a slap on the wrist from CAM?

Okay sausage, let me correct you.

I did indeed put up a post that I regretted the next day. Seeing it was my post it was also my prerogative to remove it, as I was the originator, very similar to when others have asked a mod to take a post down they regretted posting.

A few had replied to my post copying and pasting my original post. Because I had removed my post, it made no sense to leave my comments within someone else's replies that in effect made no sense once I had deleted my wording, are you with me still?

As for CAM slapping my wrist , I'd do the same again if the same circumstances repeated themselves.

NB. I have tried though not to post too late at night so as not to regret something I may say in the heat of the moment.

    So you learned nothing?

Those who do not learn the lessons from history are destined to repeat them. Here's a reminder:

If you're willing to abuse your position as a moderator I think you should step down or have it removed.

In this thread you appear to hint that you're willing to abuse your power by restricting conversation when you don't like how the conversation is going.

It's pretty sh*tty behaviour to be honest.

.....'Step down'....where are we, 'House of Commons'?

CAM called it, 'not something he should be using 'willy nilly'. That's hardly abusing my power now is it?

I lobbed, you bit, you're in the net. . Of course I'll be a good chap and not abuse this site

CAM made that comment in the context of having directly pointed out that you had abused your new moderator powers.

I find it funny when people try to argue they're fishing. I'm always happy to bite, so well done!

The problem is, on this occasion I don't think you were joking, and I think you're hiding behind that as you're a bit embarrassed again as you realise you were subtly hinting at abusing your moderator status in an attempt to shape the discussion more to your liking.

I only say that, because as I have shown, you do have previous with abusing your powers.

Brin, just ban him. He brings absolutely nothing to this forum.

Yes he does. I've had runs ins with him but I didn't spit my dummy out.
If you don't like it, don't read it.
Too many people don't like hearing opposing views. It never ceases to amaze me how many resort to outright abuse when they're put on the spot with difficult questions.

Spot on. Thanks Vataland and John for some very interesting exchanges.
