With respect gm it's not. Brin is new in the post of moderator and he needs to recognise that the 'power' he has to modify his or anyone else's posts is not something he should be using 'willy nilly' just to cover his own mistakes. Other posters don't get the same 'power'.

You accused me of expressing the "stupid" belief that "the figures of 150,000+ dont take into account people who have been run over but where healthy but happened to have covid".

Have a basic level of self-respect... either quote where I said this and I'll pay £100 to the hospice, or at least have the decency to admit you got your accusation wrong?

The respect for anything/anyone and allowing louts to spawn ceased when corporal punishment ceased in schools.

Never did me any harm and smartened me up when I was caned or slippered (one each incident) in school. Put it this way I didn’t do it again and it made me realise my actions were out of order. Bring it back I say and National Service while we’re at it. That’ll stop them in their tracks and make proper men of them.

My own view is that ANY opinion, yes including mine, should have evidence to support it and this should be encouraged by Mods where ever possible. I am happy to abide by that and I would imagine most mmadsters woud as well.

Basically if you cant back up what you are saying dont say it or at least be prepared to be challenged. I dont think that is unreasonable.
