Perhaps the tortoise should put itself forward. It can’t be any worse, can it?

I lived and worked in Cayman (it is singular) for 11 years. The British Virgin Islands and others specialise in shell companies. I appreciated the wit!

Cayman is mainly structured finance and mutual funds that are all legitimate and nothing to do with tax evasion. The OECD has expressed the view that the Cayman Islands assist in global capital flows in a positive manner, facilitating global investment.

I studied law at Manchester University Swiss and graduated in 1973. I am still in touch with quite a few of the class of ‘73 and we will be getting together for a 50th re-union in Manchester next year.

Brilliant, Outwood. I graduated in 1974 and specialised in Equity & Trusts, Revenue Law and Company Law in the offshore world. A fantastic life and I have never regretted reading law. It has opened so many doors for me.

    Enjoy your reunion.

Now that we have officially become a Third World country, I'm sure Switzerland must seem a perfect place to be s_c...
