Tough game, but a great opportunity for the players to show fresh commitment, spirit and passion. I’ve a feeling that we will see some exuberance from Carlos !
Maybe the Liquidator ?
Maybe a victory ?
COYB
Let's hope so Prando! Actually think Corberan isn't a bad choice given our position but while a win and decent performance on Saturday will be very welcome I think it will take time to turn this lot around .Confidence is a big factor in football though so need to get some wins in quickly.
Will be a very tough match, but I'll be there shouting as usual!
Hopefully a big improvement how we set up and play, going to take a while to sort this lot out though, the break can’t come soon enough, January and the summer transfer windows will be interesting
You can’t turn a bunch of lazy, witless a r s e holes into a high pressing team in three days.
Look what happened to Ismael, our “superstars” downed tools and got him the sack.
The last thing I think when I look at our side is “high energy”.......more like “total w a n k e r”.
I’ve said this for years now, we need to decide on a club style and ethos and put up with the downsides until it starts to hopefully pay off over a couple of years.
But we won’t and this poor sap will be on his bike in January.
I’m sure our home crowd will be keen to show support to Carlos and get behind the team. Great opportunity to capitalise.
Looking forward to it, apart from the early kick off COYB
I look forward to a victory for the Baggies Prando but I suspect an away win with lots of huffing and puffing by the home team and a post match interview of "what I need to do" statement afterwards.
Lets see which eleven he starts with. that will tell me more about his actions, then his words. The best of luck to him and hope it is a great home win.
My brain concurs Db buddy, but my heart is hoping that Carlos’ very evident enthusiasm will engender a spirited performance! I have been impressed with the two or three interviews he has given, particularly the down to earth honesty and the need to start getting the basics right.
His comments that potential transfer possibilities were a distraction at the present. Refreshing honesty, sadly reflecting our true position.
No promises, just a statement that he intends to get the best out of what we have.
