Although orta produced a miracle by getting bielsa I doubt any manager in potechinos class would give us a second look.

I suppose that’s where our opinions differ. I’m just recovering from 16 years of tripe and antifootball in the championship and would prefer not to return.
But if people are happy enough with relegation then why are we currently worried, cos it’s not gonna be a problem.

I think in part it is the shock of going from Bielsaball to clueless Billy.

Bielsa struggled last year but however much the board try to respin it for two main reasons.

They didn’t buy him any midfielders when he wanted Obrien or Swift. We then had horrific injuries which our small squad couldn’t cover.

The idea that his training methods caused them is tenuous - anyone who has run marathons or looks at ultra athletes understands what levels the body can be pushed to.

We now have whatever it is that Marsch serves up. Any team that studies us and how we have been beaten has the key to an almost certain 3 points.

When you listen to his interviews there is little of substance about tactics. There are mutterings from some of the pundits that his training exercises are simplistic at best.

We are worse at defending corners now than under Bielsa and he never practised them.

The board got seduced by how he had transformed an average squad and didn’t recognise it needed upgrading in key areas.

Bielsa never said he didn’t want more players he just said they had to be a step up from what he had.

If we appointed Dysche his voice might give the kids nightmares too 😎

Don't worry, you'll have a whole lot more than 5 years to enjoy championship football if we get relegated this year. Our player's contracts are not structured for value if we are relegated since our board is convinced of their infallibility. we have an owner than is poor by Prem standards and the 49's will bail. Our trajectory will look a lot more like West Brom or Sunderland than Fulham or Norwich.

I doubt Dysche plays bamrigo, llorente, firpo 90 minutes every game. we might actually get to see Joffy, Perkins, Gnoto, Heldje and Strujik play in the right lineup

Not a huge fan of him but at this point anyone with the ability to tactically adjust to the other team and play some of our players based on merit and not seniority or payscale would offset the change in free flowing, but ineffective, football.

I enjoyed watching us under Grayson more than I'd want to watch us under Dyche in the PL.

Football isn't just about being in the highest league, it is about going to enjoy what you're watching and there is bugger all chance I'd enjoy watching Dyche football no matter what league we are in.

Yes, Dyche is well know for giving youngsters their footing, just look how dour he made McNeil look. He would never play our kids, he doesn't do it, he played bloody Ashley Barnes and Aaron Lennon ahead of giving any youngsters a chance.

All he would do is play our most boring 11 possible and bring in players like Jack Cork or Ashley Barnes. Our sign quality lumps like Weghorst to stink out Elland Road

No thanks, football is about more than just being able to finish 10th in PL every year watching dour, tepid football

Hands up those who want to stay in the prem, or those who are happy to play good football in the championship or lower.

Stay in the prem, and at this moment in time I'd snap your hand off to finish 10th, playing any kind of football.
