The support on Saturday was fantastic. The new players look like they are really enjoying life at Turf Moor.

I think it's because they are all on the same wavelength, no little cliques have formed with Corky, Jay Rod and VK all leading the way. I stopped counting when I realised, we have at least 9 different nationalities playing for us, it's like watching a United Nations representative 11.

Hate to say it but it's just as good away from home.

Just my own thoughts here mon ami, others might disagree. Just on the evidence of my own eyes, the man who revolutionised football in this country was Sir Alex Ferguson. In the late 80s, early 90s, football proceeded as it always, more or less, had, generally the home team attacked and tried to win, the away team played with a defensive mentality and tried to nick a point, of course there would be exceptions but that was the way it mostly was.

But there was one team that started to buck this trend, Manchester United, whenever I saw them it made no difference whether they were playing home or away, they set out to attack and win games. If there was one team in the country that was never going to park the bus, it was Fergie's United. Times move on and many managers have Fergie's mentality now, especially those at the big clubs, if they can go out and win a game, they will, home or away.

Which brings me on to VK's Burnley,

Home record, P9, W5, D4, L0, F17, A8.
Away record, P9, W4, D4, L1, F15, A8.

Virtually identical, home or away, just like Fergie's United, it doesn't matter. I like that.

You know me mon ami, vaccine sceptic, Eurosceptic, antiseptic, but I'm sold on VK, it's quite a revolution going on at Turf Moor.

He is articulate, intelligent and not afraid to rotate the players. The team players all know their jobs and it's amazing how well they have all gelled and bond together.

Tella epitomises everything this team is about I hope we can keep him he is becoming quite the talisman.

To be honest, I am enjoying life in the Championship compared to the last couple of seasons in the PL. I believe that we can win every home game and at least get a draw away, with exciting, attacking football.

The blend of youth and experience is working well. I am looking forward to the January window to see what happens then. It sounds like work is ongoing behind the scenes to unearth new, young talent.
