    Immigration

    Absolute joke
Haven’t people woken up to the well devised plan of Muslims to dilute and increase their stake in European population by encouraging lots of children

This is a fact not a perception

Aldo Muslims class anyone who is not Muslim as su. Human and fair game which opens the door to grooming and drugs

Absolute joke that no one wants to ever pull together stats on Muslims and their behaviour for eg calling grooming gangs Asians

They are Muslim not Asian Same as these Albanian drug / human trafficking gangs who aren’t encouraging people to the uk for the hell of it but to kill the population and in time take over

    I very much agree BS.

I spent much of the 80’s and early 90’s working in the frozen food industry as a rep and 85% of my customers were Indian.

I got on extremely well with the majority of them and they were hard working, diligent and mostly very polite and welcoming.

10% of my customers were Pakistani Muslims and were mostly lazy, arrogant and had filthy shops.

My Indian customers despised them and hated being lumped in with them under the “Asian” banner.

The Pakistanis would rob their own granny for a penny and had a really bad attitude, some were openly racist to me as a young white bloke at the time.

This stuff doesn’t get called out for what it actually is, you’re quite right about this.

As for the Albanians, it’s hard to believe that anyone could outdo the Romanian gangs in the “scum” bracket but this lot as advertised on today’s news do.

    Human effluent.

    They need putting down.

Think we have to be a bit careful with tarring people from different cultures/religions/countries all with the same brush. Any stereotyping is obviously based on degrees of experience but it can be a slippery slope to go down.

I am not saying that there aren't a significant number of Albanians involved in criminal gangs and unsavoury activities because there are just as there have been similar issues with Romanian ones and it really p isses me off that many people are too PC to actually point out that those involved in the Child abuse rings up North were overwhelmingly Pakistani Muslims. You can't deal with things if you fudge the reality. (The constant Black/White narrative when people discuss racism also drives me mad. Not only does it ignore Brown people or SE Asians for example but it forgets both Colourism and the fact that people of any colour can be racist).

Just saying that whilst it's true that particular cultures can be authoritarian, patriarchal, ***ist, homophobic and sometimes down right vile, it doesn't mean that all individuals are like that. Whilst, over all, the Sikh and Hindu Indians I personally have come into contact with have been the more polite and nicest, I have also worked with Pakistani Muslims who have been equally nice and helpful. Read an article recently on an Albanian family who run a restaurant in London and they also do a lot of work in the local community and seemed well liked. The head of the family was angered by the behaviour of a lot of his countrymen who were giving them all a bad reputation but was very proud of his culture and determined to prove the preconceptions of others wrong.

Not all Brummies or Irish are thick, not all Scousers are thieves and not all Yorkshiremen or Scots are tight just as not all Albanians are gangsters or all Pakistani Muslims *****philes.

Totally agree. We shouldn't lump all Asians together. There is a vast difference between Muslims and Sikhs, Hindus etc. I realise that we shouldn't generalise either regarding all Muslims but their 'raison d'etre' is to conquer all other religions. As an ex-teaching colleague, sadly no longer with us, stated, in fifty years time this country will be Muslim!

This is where I point out that not all Muslims are Asian and walk away. There are black and even white ginger Muslims out there. Get your heads around that last one 😊 .

Religion-of rather extremist religions-have a lot to answer for, regardless of whether they are Christian, Islamic, Jewish, Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist or whatever.

Lumping all Muslims together is clearly a misconception just as lumping all Christians together would be. The differences between, for example, Sunni, Shi'a or Ibadi Muslims and the disagreements between them is similar to the differences between Catholic, Orthodoxy or Protestant.

The Islamic Ottoman Empire was considerably more tolerant of other religions than European Christian -particularly Catholic -ones were but BS is right to point out that current extremist branches of Islam are dangerous and pose a significant threat if not dealt with. These branches are exceptionally intolerant of other religions and cultures -particularly Western ones-and do indeed aim to grow their numbers in order to increase their foothold and power in Europe and we should be very mindful of this.

Extremists of all kinds and extreme (mis)interpretations of religions, ideologies etc are what is dangerous. Extreme generalizations are too…

I’m quite shocked you’d post this BS. I don’t necessarily have many (if not any) muslim freinds in this day and age, but back in the day when I did live in the midlands there were a fair few.
I don’t think you can tar all of them in the same way. There are some real scumbags out there and what we saw in Rotherham care homes etc, unforgivable. They may have been pakistani and muslim but that alone you can’t pin point to as the reason for those crimes. A sick criminal is a sick criminal, they may tag on to some religion and that’s what they’ll do.

Being an atheist (or agnostic if you like) I despise all religions as I just think it’s outdated and a form of control. No offence to anyone religious.

Before the care home incidents happened here, in India there was a gang rape of some woman. Now would you tar those indians and their religion in the same way as you have above?

Could you say black American muslims are into grooming? Probably not. Here in the UK there’s other factors at play.. criminals and gangs etc who will prey on vulnerable people. Same as what is going on in India and perhaps the south asian region.

You may have something against pakistanis in the UK and I can see why. I’ve seen both the good and bad from people of this background and i’m so glad I can suss them out well in advance having been scammed by one in the past. But does that make me stereotype them? No.

Back when I used to live in West Brom I used to play footie in the Asian tournament, great fun and atmosphere at Sandwell Valley. I always recall some sikhs having a stall, giving away free food. And I mean free amazing food. Some of my close friends from school are sikhs and they’ve become religious after a wedding but they’ve tend to have distance themselves a little. But nevertheless i’ve noticed it’s deeply routed in the sikh religion to be very charitable, and they are absolutely amazing and do some much here in the UK. However back in college i’ve also witness some that we’re not nice. My point is you get your fair share within all races and religions and circumstances they are in.
