    Sunak's Family - Surprise Surprise

    Surprise Surprise!!! Absolutely shocking:

Rishi Sunak's wife's family company remains in Moscow eight months after saying they would leave
Infosys, the Indian IT services company Rishi Sunak's wife's family owns, remains in Moscow eight months after saying it was pulling out, the Guardian has reported.

An office with staff and contractors is carrying out IT services for a global client, the newspaper said.

Infosys hands £11.5m in annual dividends to Mr Sunak's wife, Akshata Murty, whose billionaire father NR Narayana Murthy founded the company.

There was an outcry earlier this year after it emerged Ms Murty had "non-dom" tax status in the UK that allowed her to avoid liability on those dividends in Britain. She then agreed to pay tax on the dividends in both the UK and India. But zero back tax and escaping other taxation like inheritance tax and numerous multi million pound properties!!

In March, Infosys said it was transitioning out of Russia after a Ukrainian politician accused Mr Sunak's family of earning "blood money".

Sunak's will say they have no operational interests but they own a big whopping percentage of Infosys so complete bollox!!!

If that's all true then surely Sunak's position is already untenable and he has to leave politics?

It’s two weeks since we had a Tory leadership contest so another one is about due.

It is true. If Infosys really wanted to pull out of Russia, they surely could, but mustn’t damage their own interests, regardless of Russian atrocities in Ukraine. We should stop aid to India whilst they operate double standards; actually, India is a wealthy enough country and shouldn’t be in receipt of aid anyway.

Totally agree! Aid might even increase now with Sunak at the helm as it would be very easy then to pay brown envelopes through the back door via family!

    Shocking state of affairs!

With the way things are going at the moment, we’ll soon be needing foreign aid from India and other countries. I read somewhere IMF could step in to bail us out. And we harp on about labour 70s mismanagement, this would be a new low.

Good one Regis and so true! Makes you wonder when so many Polish are going home as they deem prospects to be better!
