dont agree at all, would you rather we go back to not giving away any fouls and letting the opposition run at us unchallenged like we do with our normal midfielders? Yeah he looked off it at times in possession but him breaking up play of the opposition, taking fouls when they have the ball and were out of shape etc etc is exactly what we have been missing since losing butcher.
We absolutely could find better in January, but until then he should be there purely to allow the others to play and to break up the opposition attacks

As an aside, I watched from the GFU last night (a new lift has been installed so wheelchair users can get up there). Incredible, got to be the best view for disabled fans in Scotland. Big thanks to the staff for making it possible. ❤️
I'm in the GFU. Were you there because hospo was shut? It's the 1st time I can recall it being shut and all the hospo seats empty which is good news for you because of the great view but it tells its own story unfortunately.......its just too fkn expensive. Mon fat Tone get real and make it more affordable to the working class punter.
Your contradicting yourself 😁you could have disagreed a lot more. Your admitting he wasn't good, and wasn't match fit, and throwing in clumsy too for good measure. I totally agree with that 🙂
The players that came in last night made a hell of a difference. Ross Graham played well, Freeman played well. What needs to happen now is that they remain consistent! To often this season, we have had players come in and do well just to play their next game like they have never seen a ball before. Everyone is allowed an off day, but we seem to have a lot of off days collectively as a team. Last night was only one win, that's great, but we need to make sure that we are building on this result for the weekend. One game at a time, building constancy and improving as a team
Baby steps and still way too fragile, but last night gave me hope that we at least have some players up for the battle of getting us out of the position we are in. It is 100% the teams around us that we need to be taking points off and we need to build on this result as we can't be hoping for other teams to do us some favours.
Graham was excellent last night. Winning the ball and coming out of defence with it, some of his cross field balls were spot on really great to see as it took us up the pitch so much faster mixing it up like that. It meant Levitt wasn't always coming to take the ball from our cb's all the time.
A big thing about this formation for me is we need wung backs to show up and cause a real attacking threat, They just have to. Freeman has been far too cautious and lacked belief he could offer that for us so far this season. We need someone else capable of playing this role to contribute when he is struggling for whatever reason. I think Behich has certainly contributed to the attacking aspect of the wing back roll in many games so far.
I also agree with the Arab on Djoum, doesn't look quite up to match fitness but if he does the simple stuff and he keeps improving he can only get better. The gaping holes in that midfield we've seen time and time again this season weren't there last night and that's a lot down to him.
Sadat looked sluggish when he came on don't know what was going on there. We didn't exactly play to his strengths but still I expect more from him. Really want to see him score.
