Luton have already given permission for Southampton to speak to him but he wants to stay for the Stoke game midweek. He will be gone by the time we play them on Saturday.

I just cancelled a post, saying if Southampton have not got money in the coffers, to back him
in the transfer market, he might as well stay at Luton Town.
But then read hes agreed terms.

Pure skullduggery. Wigan are in a financial meltdown and there's something not right about this....stinks to high heaven.

When you look at it, when a manager / head coach lose their jobs, its not just the
manager, it most cases its the backroom staff also losing their jobs, because a
new manager / head coach will want to bring in his own backroom staff.

So with Wigan Athletic sacking manager Leam Richardson, who just signed a new
3 year contract, his backroom staff he fetched in, will surely have signed a new
contract also.
So will backroom staff be looking after team affairs, then get the bullet when a
new manager is appointed, who perhaps will fetch in his own backroom staff.
so eventually Wigan have to pay compensation to ex-manager Richardson, then
the backroom staff.
