Not sure about enough chances Grist, because other than the one really good chance you are talking about, even that was from an angle which at least gives the goalie a chance.
All the others were decent half chances but not one of those decent half chances were 1v1 although I will admit that on another day maybe one or two of the decent half chances go in. UTM

Gives the keeper a chance because he blasted the ball straight at Victor, either side of him he would have scored. Not as though he was rushed either, no defender near him.

A song to be sung in Wales by both Millers and Blades fans:

Dydd Mercher yn cael eu curo ym mhob man y maent yn mynd.

I'm not really interested in comparing Warne to Taylor, it's a new era, it's Matt Taylor's era and his methods (and in Jan hopefully we'll see his recruitment skills) are all I'm focused on now.

Like many I was somewhat dreading last night and said to a friend before kick off I just wanted to get through the 90 with no more injuries. Hopefully Kioso isn't badly hurt and will be back with us very soon. There was always a shred of hope that the script goes out of the window in a local derby and we made that happen last night with an incredible performance all round.

UTM, proud of the entire team and staff
Well spoken, I agree with everything you have said, excellent result, and as Rotherham United supporters, thank you all.!

Nephew said there was problems getting into the game, plus the concourse stairway was
full, so he & others could not get to their seats, he said the stewards were very poor at
doing their job. So they stood up all the game at the back.
My son also said he had problems getting to his allocated seat.

I take it that you never went to an away game at Bradford in the 70's

    So much for fans’ safety.

What relevance does watching a game 50 years ago at Bradford have to watching one this week at Sheffield? Haven't safety and comfort standards supposed to have moved on since then or are you again just picking on ELK's post because you have nothing better to do?

Jeez. It was a comparison of the standards then and now, nothing intended to cause offence. Let's just say if they ran out of cocktail cherries for my gin on the concourse, I think that I would survive the trauma.
