Parts of our play today sounded pretty good, sadly too many parts not so, basic errors which in the end, cost us dear, not even a point.
Not a great way to start a months break, too much time to dwell on what should have been.
Agree with the CBs, Struijk at LB, has improved, but just isnt in the right mould, has too revert back to the centre.
Places / points very tight, dont think Marsch is out of the woods just yet.

JM's really pushing his high intensity counter-press to ideally 'squeeze the opposition' higher up the pitch but with Leeds lack of technical MOBILITY at centre-back (outside of Koch) WE cannot play the high line as JM requires.

Obviously, currently defensively we have Koch, Llorente, Cooper, Struijk, Hjelde, Dallas, Ayling, Firpo, Kristensen, Cody Drameh & maybe Dallas but only Koch has 'mobility' in his locker presently & Roca for all his tidy attributes doesn't provide that missing element to his game, again today it showed when it mattered.

Pace of today's PL requires 2 mobile centre-backs not static brick house walls of the Coops & Harry Maguire genre.

Light at end of the tunnel ?
    Possibly. 🤗

Interesting to hear what Hopey says as he went today.
Coops a brick house? Really? When was that?
    Needs repointing then.
    Preferably rebuilt.

Wish he would push the defence to grow into defending properly cos the forward play is pretty decent at the moment but boy oh boy I reckon me Billy/Belfast and hopey could do a better job in the back 4 than the current ones.

On a different day, not for us I know, ref calls a foul for the battering of the keeper and we have a draw.

I know I could still do a better job at LB 😎

Trust me we would have found some other way to concede
