I see Russia have now killed two people in Poland (a Nato member) in a missile attack. Probably incompetence rather than a planned provocation, but they are playing a very dangerous game with many victims. Just as our attack on Iraq was unjustified, so are Russian attacks on Ukraine, let alone Poland.

I wait for Andy to come on maaturbating himself silly at the mistake, error or stray misfire that has caused this...

In due course, I expect we will discard any rogue scenarios and take action regarding the perpetrator.

"But meanwhile Ukraine has lost ~7.6 million people, with ~2.85m of them going to... Russia!"

Of course the most important second half of the sentence above has been omitted. That number isn't just Ukrainians fancying the idea of settling in Russia of their own free will Russia has been forcibly moving Ukrainians into Russia. God knows what's happened to those poor people since then, many have disappeared.

The surface to air missiles that landed in Poland is confirmed as being used by both sides, that is the only fact at this stage. I suspect this is a Ukrainian error as they defended themselves v the missile attacks today and rogue missiles have gone astray. It makes no sense to me for Russia to want a war with NATO when it’s clear as day they are struggling with Ukraine.

Yeah, news sites seem less sure that it’s a Russian missile.

You mean like the Russian missile that downed that airline a few years ago that the Dutch investigation team said it was definitely Russia to blame but they of course denied it.
I don't think (if it is a Russian missile) it was done on.purpose to start a war with NATO but they are playing a very dangerous game.

Over Ukraine, by pro Russian Ukrainians? And of course the Dutch investigation team couldn’t have been wrong? Like any investigation whereby folk have been wrongfully convicted. Errors will always occur as humans are involved.

It's funny how all the accusations against Russia whether it's war crimes, Salisbury poisoning, murdering so called dissidents etc. Its never them at fault?. And it was

accepted not just by the Dutch that it was a Russian missile that downed that airline. Putin is a liar and never to be trusted.
Errors do occur and I'm sure if it is a Russian missile that hit the polish farm then it was a terrible accident, it would not serve Russia any good going to war against a NATO country.
