I would have him in the squad if only for his penalties, Callum Wilson is a good player but so injury prone.

I would be shocked if it wasn't one of the 3 favourites , and the 3 most likely according to Opta.

Even as NCMs gambleholic , I'm not interested at the skinny odds on offer for the Big 3.

Maybe there were other reasons he wasn't selected:

It's the first time I have really not cared.

Have not taken the kids down to the bookies to put on a sly bet like in previous years. Have no idea what group England are in or indeed what days they are playing. Saw last night that the opening game is at 3:45am NZ time. I will stay up late to watch a game I am interested in or I will get up really early but 3:45 isn't going to work. Perhaps for the final if England are in it (perhaps not actually) but I have a feeling this event is going to fall over before the final because someone is going to take their protest just a little bit further than the man with the stick will allow them then it will be all on.

200+ offences. Not looking good at the minute. Could have an addiction & needs help. Won't be the 1st or last footballer.
I know it's not just a problem at the top & know a young player who got sucked in by their more experienced pros

I'm with Eric on this one !!!

Eric Cantona would rather watch Columbo than the World Cup in Qatar

I'd almost agree. I'd prefer to watch that 'Hawaii Five Nil'

Not a bad alternative at all. I can highly recommend the following classic episodes if you've not seen them:

    Murder By The Book
    Try And Catch Me
Any Old Port In A Storm
And my personal favourite A Friend in Deed.

    Talk about great guest stars.

    Enjoy

Murder by the book I believe was the very first episode and was directed by a young Mr Spielberg. An awesome episode with the bad boy being Jack Cassidy who was the father of the much lusted after pop star by many a young girl,,David Cassidy.!
May I recommend The Most Crucial Game staring the very bad boy Robert Culp who was also Raymond's ( who every body loves) loveable father in law !!!!...
    Just one more thing !
Lest we not forget the very gorgeous /***y Jamie Lee Curtis removing a Jam Doughnut from our intrepid crime solver in one of the episodes!!
    Book him Danno !!!!
