All three England goals have been brilliant!
Yeah, nice for the Iranian people, shiit poor for football fans. I think the best teams should qualify for the WC and pretty sure all the best teams aren't there. Italy and others in fact, would hand Iran, Japan, Qatar, Ecuador their assses which shows the weakness of WC qualfiers and the strength of the teams from around the world.

Only the hardiest of Geordies would sit in a beer garden, in this weather.

Grealish finishing like Almiron from Wilson's cross.

It was - they made a good point on 5live about it.

Saying for Newcastle, Wilson chances that but with England, it is all about the team and Southgate will value Wilson doing that.

I disagree with you. What a boring World Cup to watch - only the elite nations and players. I like the diversity and the fact that smaller, less-football gifted nations have a chance to present themselves to the world and even surprise everybody occasionally.

In that case lets not make it a competition. Lets have a fashion show and a slice of cake instead then call it the world tea cup.

That said, though. Saudi has just beaten Argentina and kind of backs up your point Hughie.
