    Germany v Japan

    There is literally no atmosphere in the stadium except a couple of people whistling

    There is a big distance between the pitch and the spectators, but I think it sounds quite atmospheric, Albert.

    Japan are going down.

    I couldn't hear any atmosphere for the first 25 minutes. Ally McCoist said it was the worst he'd experienced at the WC so far....perhaps it got better during the match?

    Fair enough, I heard chanting all the way through. Shocking result - very good for the tournament too!

    Am I right in thinking that Germany now need a result against Spain, if not an actual win to go through? That is if Japan beat Costa Rica which going by the result in the other game in the group (7-0) is probably likely.
