A lot of people used to attend Scottish Cup ties because they were a ‘one off’ game with the winner proceeding to the next round of the Scottish Cup.
Pre Covid we also had pay at the gate turnstile(s) for cup ties.
Now we have the crazy situation that our Scottish Cup tie against Airdrie of League 1 this Saturday is all ticket which certainly does not encourage people to attend the game.
