Your delusion over the role of Christianity in the technological revolution is hilarious.

By your logic, anything that has changed is automatically credited to Christianity.

In reality, we had 1800 years where Christianity ruled in Europe and very little progress was made.

The thing that distinguishes Europe from those other cultures you mention was the Age of Enlightenment when Christianity started to lose its dominance.

You really should look up some basic history.

In an earlier post I mentioned the Age of Enlightenment and how it was enabled by the demise of the Inquisition (of course the Inquisition was nothing to do with Christianity and everything to do with political power). Your trawling back through my posts wasn't thorough enough. What you and your fellow woke gangsters are landing us with is a new Inquisition along with a new, undefined and half-baked religion for it to claim to defend. In your woke world there is no place for truth and logic - we are told that they are irrelevant.

It is the very fact that in Europe, Christianity was able to exist alongside science and logic that was special. Superstition and fear of the provable truth holds back human progress as it has done in countless other cultures. Take for example Saudi Arabia - it is effectively still medieval but wokery will try to have us believe that our culture is no better than theirs (they call it "Cultural relativism").

The collapse of church authority in Europe after in the Enlightenment did not end Christianity but rather it separated it from political power. People were still able to have religion to satisfy their moral and spiritual needs whilst not being under the power of those who claimed religious authority. The resulting system seemed to work rather well and it eventually brought us Amazon, Google, Apple, Microsoft, Tesla etc.

I have zero interest in what it contains. It is an example of expensive woke nonsense that provides a whole new industry for nice people with social science backgrounds to receive high salaries from tax-payers whilst deciding who gets a job and who doesn't. Why should anyone be forced to make a sociological statement if they want to teach anything let alone a subject like mathematics? And what of those candidates who are "just boomers getting upset that they can't say outdated views" whose "outdated" ideas are deemed by the nice people making the decisions to be unacceptable (even though those views are irrelevant to the job). And how does this improve diversity of opinion in the university?

Diversity statements have become standard requirements for many job applications here in the US. Mrs. CA is currently looking for work and has been asked to complete them in her pursuit for positions in high powered roles such as Administrative Assistant and Receptionist.

Along similar lines I had the "pleasure" earlier this week in attending 4 hours of compulsory CREI (Civil Rights, Equity and Inclusion) training where I work. The majority of the class taught me about White Privilege, White Supremacy Culture and White Fragility (look them up if you want enlightening). Today I submitted my feedback on the training. I'm told the feedback is anonymous. I guess I'll know if that's true if I'm still in a job in a couple of weeks.

And there's the opposite view that such actions harden the stance of those that disagree with it all. Those that up to now have stayed in the background and lived with it. But then there comes a point when the quiet ones say " that's enough" and start to kick back.

We are seeing symptoms of this in the UK, we've had all sorts of anti racist gimmics in football but incidents of racism are on the increase. How come?

Today "our" team will take the knee some will applaud, some will boo but most will do nothing. What's simmering under the surface for those fans?

If somebody is truly racist daft gimmics won't change them they will just be more careful with their actions and recruit others to their cause.
