What's all this roaring sh1te? Yes, the way Senegal set up made it hard to find gaps to pass into as well as time to look for it but when we finally worked the opportunities, they were taken. France will set up differently and it is likely that passing forward into space will be easier. The problem is that when they come at us, we don't really have the defence that is likely to cope. But as has been pointed out, their defence is suspect also so I think it will be close. As usual, freak or exceptional moments will decide it and on balance they have the team, with more experience in the middle, that is more likely to win. But wouldn't be surprised if one or two of those moments went our way.
But then Spain. And then Brazil.
