    Morocco.

    Unbelievable.

Beat France and we’d face them before Argentina or Croatia in the final.

The best chance since 66 if we can beat France.

Start by beating France, so far you haven’t had any real opposition. I think you and the NL had ”the easiest/weakest” groups, both taking 7 out of 9 points from it (and the NL are out now). Hope you do better.

To say we haven’t “beaten anyone” isn’t really fair.

Every country earned their right to be in Qatar and you can only beat what’s put in front of you.

We’ve hammered three of our four opponents FFS.

You think we can beat Morocco? They could win this tournament Pulis style. It’s Ironic, if it was Pulis you would hear “Parking the bus” but instead nothing but praise for morocco. Whoever wins tonight has a good chance of losing to morocco. Lost 2 in their last 44 games and the only goal they have conceded this tournament was an own goal. Destroyed Portugal with 24% possession. Serious dark horses for the cup.
Oh and by “dark horses” I’m not being racist.

They have some very good technical players though Boingy.

The trick is to not let them get in front.

If you score the first goal or go 2-0 up they’ll struggle.

Very well organised and physical though along with their skill.

I didn’t say you haven’t beaten anyone, I said you haven’t had any real opposition, so far, you will tonight, and best of luck.

I maintain yours and the group the NL won were the weakest. That does not suggest you have done badly - or that you can’t go further. It was just an assessment of what I have seen so far, and in which I think you read too much.

Btw, I don’t think Qatar earned their place…

No host ever has to “earn their place” so what was your point Thomas?

As for “real opposition”......if we did manage to beat France the same criticism would likely then be made if we beat Morocco I presume?

I mean Morocco.......they train using a coconut and have jumpers or sticks for goalposts!
