There is a huge problem with this argument, Kioso isn't fit and hasn't been all season, when he gets fit he gets injured again, basically we signed another injury prone player, we took a gamble on him because of our limited budget and it is Xmas and that gamble has failed. NC was the most creative player on the pitch on saturday, he is one of the few players we have that can run at players and dribble (remember that skill!!) Bramall cannot do this, he is a hit and chase the ball player, he hesitates before crossing the ball and therefore loses the opportunity to do that. NC made our goal with an inspired intelligent cross, only Fergie or Barlasar would have the intelligence to make that cross, we all know crossing is not Ogbenes strength. The issue on saturday was MT, he told pelts to play higher up the pitch (we could see that on the TV, his instruction and gesture on the side line was clear), this left a huge gap behind pelts, he has no pace and Wood couldn't get across quicker enough to cover, tactical mistake. NC should play he is too talented not to, however he is young and we have a responsibility to him and to Arsenal to not cause him to play too many games. We need some younger legs to play the right side of a three to help the ones we have.
I also agree with others that at home we have to start with a striker, only Kelly shows any ability in that department so best to go out and recruit one with any Xmas pressie money that TS gives us.

Kioso himself has said that he has never been out injured before, so it simply isn’t true to say that he is injury-prone. I would hope he has just been unlucky.

So your defence is that the player says he isn't often injured? It is unfortunate that he has been injured, but the facts are clear this season he has been injury prone, he has had TWO set-backs already, to base our hopes on a player that isn't fit, hasn't been fit and there is no evidence to say he will be fit is not a sensible approach, in my view. He clearly has the ability, we need him to recover and not pressure him to comeback too early and that should be the decision of the medical team and NEVER the player, as they will always want to play. In the meantime we have Harding, Ogbene and NC that can play right wing-back, we are not short of options there and within a game we can adapt and change things in that position, depending on the opposition and how the game is going. We miss Hall and Humphreys we look far better when those two play, yet again it is just my opinion.

You said that signing him was a gamble. It wasn’t. We gave him a 3-year contract and it is far too early to say whether or not he is injury-prone. Diaz at Liverpool has just been injured coming back from injury, does that mean he is injury-prone too?

I agree about the three year contract at the time was fair considering he wasn’t injury prone (well I don’t think he was) Since joining us he has been and it’s been picked up on which is reasonable.
Hopefully when he’s fully fit well near enough anyway then he can come back in and not pick anymore injuries up

Kioso will feature in games as will Cuffy until Taylor and co think otherwise
