Let me start by saying he was one of the best strikers I've ever seen play for us.

Let me also say I thought he was a fucking arsehole after he left and this brief article does nothing to convince me otherwise.

We could all see that there was a rabbit off weeks before he eventually left. I remember watching him in one particular game making half-arsed challenges and not bothering to track his man, and thinking 'huh...if I didn't know better, I'd think he wasn't bothered' but dismissing that thought because, well, it was Andy Cole, and he wouldn't be like that.

But I also remembering watching him walk around the Wembley pitch after Man U had won an FA Cup, singing the f*ck off Kevin Keegan song (I've got a potty mouth/keyboard but I'm not committing that sentence to print ). Kevin Keegan made that twat and that was his response??

And for him to complain that Keegan had had the temerity to have a go at him for not trying...and make himself the victim??

pfft. By siding against Keegan, he totally pissed all over his reputation here, imo.

Exactly the above. Great player with a wonderful football brain and technique to go with it but let himself down with bad remarks on leaving here.

Didn’t know about the KK song but he’s gone down in my estimation,short memories some of these spoilt brats!
