No Reason Game Should Be Off

Referee can see both goals from centre circle and apparently that the standard.

I was just wondering what improvements the stadium damage made.

Dont think Gary Bowyer will be happy with the game being off, if AYR win at Firhill today, it will open up a 4 point gap.
ok we will have a game in hand, but puts more pressure on us.

Lose at Ayr potentially 7 behind and in 4th/5th place......that's how important getting games on are.

From the side with all the momentum to the side under severe pressure.

I honestly find it astonishing game is off when pitch is playable because of stadium neglect.......again.

And it's accepted because Linda says sometime in the distant future we may have a shiny new stadium.

John Nelms should be making a statement explaining which parts of the Dens Park Stadum suffered damage and what this damage was which resulted in the Cove game being cancelled.
In December 2010 during the Admin 2 season the weather was far worse yet home games against Cowdenbeath and Stirling Albion managed to be played. The South Enclosure was closed due to frozen pipes in the toilets and there were frozen pipes in the Main Stand which were repaired by a local firm of plumbers.
Back then everything was being run on a shoestring but home games in ‘unprecedented’ freezing weather managed to be played.
Dundee supporters helped clear the Dens Park pitch and clear stairways in the ground on a Sunday morning after a blizzard on the previous evening and night to get the Scottish Cup tie against Motherwell played as it was being televised live on SKY.
The club needed the money from SKY to complete the season.

That last line simply isn't true

It has been well documented that Dundee FC needed the £75k they received from SKY to complete the 2010-11 Admin 2 season.
The information is freely available to read in the filing history of Dundee Football Club Limited in the Companies House website.
All the income and expenditure from the start of Admin 2 in October 2010 until May 2011 is listed in the Administrator’s interim and final report.
It is well worth a read as it shows all the expenditure by the club despite everything being cut to the bone.

It says that does it? That specifically they needed that 75k to complete the season?
