How do I just know that you defining what a hole in one is has annoyed the tits AFF of Deeranged. 😆

Some folk need 6 swings to hit the ball once, seen a certain poster on here do it.😎

I've never had the ball in the hole with a single hit (a hole in one) unless you count 7th hole auld pitch and putt at campy.

It means ......I'm ****ing **** at sport and cannot coordinate my brain, arms legs and body to swig a club round me and thru to hit a wee white ball around 7000 yards completing 18 holes in a decent sub 80 score

I'm also very jealous of folk who can do this and have the charisma, charm ( front of the queue sunshine) wit and personality to get along with other club members ( mad is like a golf club) and never rub any **** up the wrong way.

Golf ❤️ The Bomber ❤️ Sweden ❤️......no particular order.
    Thank you for your explanation.
In my heyday playing golf at Downfield I had sub 80 scores if I was playing well. However golf can be a very frustrating game as you never know from one day to the next how well you are going to play.
Slow play is also a curse and the main reason why I gave up playing golf in February 2011.
Yesterday I read that the Craigie Hill golf club members voted in December 2019 in favour of reducing their 18 hole golf course to a 9 hole golf course. One of the reasons was that people did not have time to complete a round on an 18 hole golf course.
Rubbish. Golfers managed fine before golf from America appeared on our TV screens. The Yanks are notorious for slow play which has resulted in local golf club members following suit.
At the Open Championship last July it was reported that it was taking up to six hours for the golfers taking part to complete their round of golf.

I reckon I'm medium to fairly fast paced so can adjust to slower or rapid pace fairly easily......don't like Uber slow though can be off putting.

Drumoig, you can be 4.5 hours for a 3 ball in say club champ qualifier but around 2 hours 50 on a summer afternoon thru the week.

Quickest I've been round in a 2 ball is 2 hours 25.....with gimmes.

Sign up at Drumoig says 3 hours 50 for a round but I think it should be a bit quicker.

Non compliance (3 mins) when searching for golf balls dosent help and marking ball when 18 inches or so from hole slows things a bit but my take on things is life's good, playing a sport I love that I'm no bad at for an auld *******.

Played 168 times round Drumoig so far this year.....around £3.45 a round ......pretty good value.
