I think DDs point is that you called Cormack a "yank loving ****! This suggests you hate yanks, which is peculiar as your chosen country to escape to is the USA.

That said, many (but by no means all) Americans do my head in to a certain extent, but I love the country. Some of the best natural landscapes of anywhere I have visited. Plenty wrong with then place, as there is back in the UK (and at a more granular level, in Scotland itself), but plenty good about it too.

Just seems a little odd that you would want to live somewhere that you actively berate others for loving said country's settlers. But I'm a little bit of a walking contradiction on this topic so you really can feel what you like about them!
