Missed being able to listen to the match as I was working but by all accounts we weren't quite at the races for a lot of the game? Pity not to get anything out of it at all and to lose by a penalty that late on too but Coventry was always going to be a tough one. lets just hope that we can kick on after Xmas and tbh, don't see any reason why we shouldn't.

Nice to hear about the tribute to Terry Hall (understand he also went for trials with ourselves when he was younger but his mum and dad thought the travelling would be too much)

Cover for his full back maybe, and both of ours were a real problem last night both of them so poor when they had possession of the ball add that to the non existent Rogic and Swift, I feared the worst when I saw the team and it was evident early on we were getting overan in midfield, we were lucky to go in level at half time, apart from a 20 minute spell in the second half we were really poor and didn't deserve to get anything from the game.

I felt from the off that our middle third had quite an ‘old and experienced ‘ look about it, compared to the youth and exuberance of a lively fleet footed opponent.

Personally I don’t think Phillips was any better or worse than several around him.

Let’s not forget there’s a bigger picture to all of this, with proper investment would we even be discussing him?

With CC’s history at Huddersfield I’d like a Lewis O’Brien for example but feel those type of signings are a distant memory, unless Forest fancied the loan.

We’ve still made a massive improvement though on where we were a few weeks ago. Let’s see how CC picks the bones out of this as he’s an astute individual and I’m sure he learned a lot last night.
