Can anyone tell me the positives of Brexit?
The fact Derby based Bombardier lost a UK contract because of EU rules that allowed a German company to bid on a UK project and undercut and therefore get the contract according to EU rules which states it must go to the lowest bidder! It was an absolute disgrace.

Also the farmers destroying 1000's of miles of hedge rows and all it's habitats because the the EU paid them a subsidy (income support basically) according the acres they farmed so the farmers made the fields as big as possibe for more money!!

As for the £350m that got swallowed up by the money pits that are PFI contracts and the poor management of the NHS.

I still believe it's the right move in the long run and it was never going to change overnight especially with bloody Covid coming along. I can also see other countries leaving the EU in the future. The Netherlands and Italy are fairly on the edge, even France itself is wobbling.

Or maybe the Germans were more efficient and offered a better value product than Bombardier did?

So our farmers were happy to destroy 1000's of miles of hedge rows and all it's habitats just to get an EU subsidy?

Get real! The £350 million for the NHS would never, ever have happened under any circumstances. It was an outright lie.

You believe Brexit is the right move, I believe it's a disaster. Time will tell which one of us is right.

... little elite playing his usual silly games of trying to divert some of the really constructive content. Some hardy lefties in denial that the NHS needs fundamental change. I was party to a conversation regarding the building of Edith Cavell Hospital, Peterborough, when he said (words to the effect) - before a pending election - ' get this effing hospital built; I don't effing care what it effing costs; just do it'. This from the man who sold his socialist principles (for the comfy life) and got Bliar elected when the left were certainly leaning away from the liar ...

I use the NHS alot and was there yesterday for my clinic appointment. Fantastic staff who, when I've stayed there for procedures, have to work in pure bedlam whilst vastly understaffed so they have to do their regular jobs then get another 30 on the fly. This government had 9 BILLION to spend on PPE that didn't work (alot from their mates or mones) and spend £770,000 a day just to store it now. They had tens of thousands quit in covid due to mental health and anyone with experience of what they go through can see why. Pay the NHS what they deserve instead of demonising them by saying they've got blood on their hands like the DISGUSTING right wing papers have. The only blood on hands is that of the tories letting it get to yours stage over the last 13 years. Silly tw@ts.

Well not long now till 2024 when Labour will make everything in the garden rosy. I am sure they have all the answers, and it will make a nice change to be run by honest, caring and upstanding folk.

I care about British business and workers and I care about our environment, unlike you who couldn't give a sh*t!!!

The UK Government did everything in it's power to get people to vote remain. They even spent millions on a bias leaflet that was posted through every door yet people still voted to leave

Smiley happy faces on the Remain side of the leaflet, Red danger danger and no pictures on the Leave side.
